My English Mastiff pup does not like going for walks but he pulls like crazy! How do I stop the pulling?

NEVER PULL ON THE LEASH! no...bad. Not only does it hurt your puppy, it will also annoying him and make him pull harder in the future. My puppy was the same way. He did not want to walk at all. So, we took him for very short walks, encouraging him all the way. What really helped was having an older dog walk with us. He followed him every where and ended up walking quite far. Also, if he is tugging you, you should stop immediately, until the puppy loosens and lets you lead. Make sure you have a short leash as well and keep the puppy on one side of you at all times, so he understands what to do. Keep it simple, in other words. Say "Heel" at the beginning and walk.
