At first it sounds like Bad Grounds or Bad Windings in the starter but when read over again ECM (Computer) Pops up. Have them Do a Complete Readout "BUT" Look for "Odd Readings" then another Readout on a Road Test and when it Dies. Sounding more & More like; Bad Harness at ECM, Plugs at ECM or ECM it's self Shorting! Yeah, it's possible it could aPower Spike/Surg from the Alternator.
