91 Honda Accord ,auto transmission with 125K, Sport light stays on instead of normal. How can I fix it?

The car stays in Sport Mode as well and never normal,..can I fix it myself without having to to drag it to a Honda or Import Specialist who is gonna bilk us of for thousands of bucks??? HELP! Its a 4 cyl and is getting crappy Gas mileage also!
